what is a therapeutic yoni massage?

yoni is the sanskrit word that encompasses the entire female genitalia & reproductive system, including the vulva, vagina, & womb. it translates to “source or origin of life”.

yoni massage is an ancient healing modality that is meant to support vulva-havers in releasing any stagnant energy or tension, understanding what kind of sensations are present in & around the yoni, & creating a deeper relationship with your yoni through intentional touch in a non-sexual & ceremonious environment.

unfortunately as vulva-havers, when it comes to your genitals in our modern society, you are not encouraged to explore or understand your pleasure, anatomy, or sexual expression. because of this, you can often feel disconnected from this space leaving you feeling unfulfilled after sex, unsure what your true desires are, and unable to communicate this to partners or even yourself.

therapeutic yoni massage is a pathway to guide you in reconnecting to all these parts of yourself. through this healing modality, you receive a safe space to release any physical / emotional trauma, shame, or conditioning you may have around your yoni and/or your pleasure.

our physical bodies remember and hold onto every experience we have ever had, carving out intentional time to nourish the body in this way allows us to open & soften even more for all of life.

what to expect in a therapeutic yoni massage

this is typically a 3 hour ceremony catered to your specific needs & desires. this includes grounding & arrival meditation, tea or cacao, space to drop in together in safety & setting boundaries, guidance on yoni anatomy, massage of the breasts, womb, external & internal yoni. while massaging the external / internal yoni specifically, there is constant communication & checking in with what sensations are present for you. whether that be pleasure, pain, pressure, or numbness, we meet whatever is here with loving compassion. there is space at the end for solo integration as well as supported integration with me if that feels aligned for you. there is also a virtual check in call included the week following your appointment for deeper integration.

i invite you to be in the seat of curiosity & no expectations. each session is unique to what medicine is needed for you in that moment so trusting what unfolds is encouraged. at times the medicine of these sessions can continue to reveal itself in the days / weeks / months following your session so i will also share some integration tools to support you during this time.

this is a deep dive over the course of 3 months. this is for the vulva-haver who has specific desires that we can focus on more in depth over a slower extended amount of time. throughout the 3 months:

set the tone - 1 virtual coaching session to connect, gain clarity on your desires / intentions, & opening the space together

bodywork sessions - 3 therapeutic yoni massage sessions (1 per month / 3 hour in person sessions each)

integration - 3 virtual coaching sessions (following each yoni massage) to support you in your process *final coaching session will also include a closing ceremony
